So, should we sent presents? Presents are sent between friends and family member since the start of civilization. In acient China, people who are well educated send present to each other as a part of being polite and friendly. However, if friendship is too dependent on presents then it would be a desaster for the human society because friendship is the most common type of love between human beings. Love is a kind of emotion where you can give without returns, if what you giving to your friend is for future returns such as expensive presents then is not friendship anymore. I think presents should be sent as a type of giving without return, this way, present will be more friendly.
Next up, what to send? As I said above, presents should not be very expensive, for students, presents should a affordable as well as useful. A simple present with love and your thoughts can be more effective than a expensive present that is uesless to your friend. For ture friendship, the price of the present should not be a concern, instead, what is useful is more important.
