建议考生把英语四级考试的作文答题时间分成三部分。
1.准备时间（5分钟）
如果没有充分的准备，看完作文题目就直接动手写，会让考生写到最后无话可说。俗话说得好：磨刀不误砍柴工。所以，何不分出一点时间让自己好好的思考改怎么写呢？
在这充足的5分钟内，先审题，看清题目要求，免得写偏题了。然后进行一个提纲和内容的构思，想清楚自己文章的大致结构，是否需要举例说明等等。
2.撰写时间（20分钟）
在正式写作的时候，也要注意以下几点：
(1)如无把握，宁愿写简单句也不写长难句。
(2)卷面整洁。清晰明了的段落和结构、工整的字迹会给阅卷老师留下深刻的正面印象；如果一不小心写错单词，千万不要涂黑，一笔划掉就好。
3.检查时间（5分钟）
由于考试时间和条件等诸多因素的限制，考生写作的时候会出现很多问题，于是这就需要在写完后进行一个检查了。主要检查以下三个点：
(1)拼写是否正确。看文章中是否有拼错的单词、多余的符号和写掉的介词等等。
(2)用词和搭配是否正确。
(3)语法是否正确。主要是人称、时态、语态是否正确，有没有出现本应用过去时态却用的是现在时，动词的三人称单复数是否用正确了。

这个阶段真是打击你信心的时候^^：听写出现很多拼写错误，stand听起来象天书，然后就想：我的水平还是不行啊，5555~~~不过没关系，其实你已经在进步，只是你没察觉到而已。坚持下去，慢慢就发现自己的听写正确率提高了，而且stand也变得越来越熟悉。
当听写special觉得简单的时候，就可以开始尝试听写比较短的stand。如果能坚持进行训练，半年左右，你就已经达到了六级外语听力的要求。
因为六级对听力的要求不是特别高，能听懂stand的话，你真是会觉得六级的语音真的挺慢的。 这里说一点，其实考试前听一些历年四六级考试的听力真题，可以帮助你了解题型，熟悉考试模式，所以还是绝对值得的。
本人对听力比较自负，所以没怎么听过，结果听力总是拿不到满分^^ 3：单词 这是一个老生常谈的话题，大家知道，单词是英语的基础，没有单词，就好象建大厦没有砖头，只能幻想空中楼阁。但是被单词又被大家认为是最难，最枯燥的事情。
基础好的朋友可以通过阅读学单词，但是对基础不好的，这点根本行不通。整篇文章都看不太明白，还谈什么学单词呢？既然咱们现在水平不行，就要拿出比别人更多的努力。
我考完六级，背单词的草稿纸已经放满了一个大箱子。 大家肯定有这种经验，前不久背了的单词，很快就忘记了，那么该怎么办呢？我当时是每天固定背30-40个左右的单词，第二天复习前一天的单词，然后每个礼拜天，花1小时把一个礼拜的单词复习一下，每一个月又花几个小时把一个月的单词复习一次。
这样下去，半年就能积累比较大的词汇量。在考试前，把单词再温习一次。
因为是针对考试，可以找到关于四六级考试的高频词语，重点背诵一下（网络上有很多相关资料）。 对于考试中间的vocabulary，就需要靠做题目了。
我考六级的时候，是做的北外出的一本六级考试词汇突破。花一个礼拜把里面的题目全部弄清楚，不懂的单词全部记下来。
因为六级往年的经验就是：很多题目是重复的。 4：阅读 阅读在我看来，就是通过增加阅读量，提高阅读速度，掌握一定的阅读技巧。
最开始的时候，因为基础比较差，太难的文章肯定不适合基础差的朋友。先可以看一些"书虫"（高中水平）一类的改编小说，练练感觉。
当单词量积累到一定程度以后，就可以正式开始提高阅读水平了。第一是做真题，从四级到六级，力争把真题里的句子、单词都弄明白，并且对其中的难句做一定的分析，特别是语法结构。

现在我每天晚上都喜欢看1-2版英文报纸，已经成习惯了。 5：作文 作文一直是我最弱的项目。
虽然我高中语文都是全班前三名，可惜大学根本没摸过语文书，丢光了。如果你按照上面三个方面去学习，你作文肯定不会很差劲，毕竟英语是一个综合提高的过程，你听力、阅读，单词都不错，不可能作文会差得一塌糊涂。
但是这不代表不要努力。这里我记得一个六级提高班的英语老师说过的一句话：读书破万卷，下笔如有神。
作文一个字：背！如果你背了很多很多范文，作文不会低于6分的。但是我建议在背的同时，可以用一个小本子，把一些很精彩的句子抄下来，经常看看，并举一反三。
同样一个句子，用在不同的地方，会有什么不同的效果呢？自己体会一下。而且这些精彩句子正是出彩之处，也是老师给你高分的依据。

通常这一类型的写作都是围绕着问题进行的，首先第一段要描述当今现象，提出提问;第二段开始分析该问题所带来的严重后果;第三段则给出正确解决问题的方法。
纵使四级作文千万变，“三段式”写作无需变
无论是传统的三条中文提纲式作文，还是2011年12月那样给一句名人名言要求阐释，或者是2013年6月的漫画作文，都可以用“三段式”作文来解决。
所谓“三段式”作文，第一段最关键要开篇点明自己的观点。
如果是名人名言，可以转述名人名言的意思，并结合这一意思，找出一个论点;如果是漫画、、图表作文，简单1-2句话对漫画描述后，一定不忘从漫画中给出一些看法和与实际生活相关联的现象、问题、争议点。围绕当年题干中一长串的“Nothing Succeeds Without a Strong Will by commenting on the humorous saying, “Quitting **oking is the easiest thing in the world. 展开方式有以下几种：
1. 举例论证
举例论证时，结合你自身的例子是最容易有话说的论证方式。
2. 引用论证
引用论证就是可以用来自书籍Once I read a book,…;There is an old saying …“俗话说……”;或者中外名人曾说过。
3. 道理论证

如果你觉得自己很难下手去写一篇文章的时候，不用着急，你可以先看和分析历年的真题，从中去了解它们的特点以及难易程度。
在这个基础上，你可以去找些模板来模仿和利用，在我看来背诵范文和真题作文是大有裨益的。
然后我有些小建议，可以让你的文章加点彩的。
一、写四六级作文，有两个原则（我以老师讲的）：
1.长短句原则—— 一般议论文居多，所以可以采用三段式或四段式文章，第一段是一长一短，先长后短，让阅卷的老师觉得你有功底。主体段落宜采取一短一长，目的在于体现中心句，让文章变得有层次感，和便于让阅卷老师把握你的论点。末尾段没有特别的要求，最好是能把自己的观点深入和强化。
2.主题句原则—— 我觉得这个和上面的原则似乎重合了，我都不知道该怎么进一步解释了。总之就是每个段落都要有主题句的。
二、一些技巧：
1.熟记一些开篇的句子，比较有水平的，比如模板里的，还有就是谚语和名句啊什么的，用于开头结尾的感叹。
2.善于总结同义词，在一篇文章里你往往会用到同一个意思的单词，比如“认为”、“下降”、“增长”、“在我看来”等等这类的词，你千万不要一个“think”……到底，要灵活的用其他的词和词组替换。
3.一定要在文章中有恰当的连贯词和连贯的句子。英文和中文不同，他们讲究“形合”，我们中文讲究“意合”，所以要善于用连接词，该顺接的时候用表顺接的词，该转折的转折，该递进的递进。还有什么插入语。
4.变换句型。比如把被动句式替换主动句式，这些在四六级文章里都会是亮点。
这些都是你平时练习和学习的时候可以注重总结和运用的东西，所以要努力哦！我暂时只想到这些，祝你顺利PASS!
